In order to make Hurrican accessible to as many people as possible - we are looking for people who can translate the *.lng files (basically simple Text files - just rename to .txt) to other languages than the existing ones.

Before you start translating however - please write down the following info in this thread:
Your Nickname and the Language you have translated it to. (so you can be credited and to avoid that other people translate it to the same language)

When you are done translating the file - please test it with the game to make sure everything works fine and there arent any problems like special characters not showing up etc....
Once you have verified that everything works - rename the file back to language.lng (for example if its french - rename to francais.lng, if its spanish than espanol.lng etc....)

If your language has special characters - please do a version with them and without them - and mention the special characters in the email Gesicht

Finally please email the file to information@poke53280.de with the following subject: "Language File <your translated language>"

I could do one for Norwegian, but the game can't handle the letters "æ ø å", which pop up extremely often in my language.

maybe you can describe the letters, like æ=(ae) ø=(0/) and å=(a°)or(a") or(a*)or(ao) or something else ^^

or maybe the pokes will make it possible to write norwegian letters...

...but as with jan and T23X says... letters like åöä dosen´t work.

In the Hurrican starter, everything works fine.
In the meny none works.
In-game ä and ö works but not å.

Ok, mine is done now so I might just send it in anyway.
or else 8 hours been to waste :/ (...and mine is better, of course :P )

Maybe you can have both included for selection.

maybe I'll make a Latin.lng file XD
or better not-- I dont think, that I will find words like "Fullscreen" in a book for Latin words

I could translate it to Polish, but like above, special characters are not working. I'll do it without them, for now Gesicht

Do a version with special characters and one without Gesicht

When you email it mention all the special characters so we can see if there can be done anything about this Gesicht

DAMN !!
I had planned to make a French language pack, and almost finished it... IT IS OUT Verunsichert

The translation isn't bad anyway... But there are still things to check (I would like to contact the one who made the language pack - sorry, can't remember his nickname - to see what would be the best translation)
Also, please include the accents and special characters in your bitmaps because ç, à, é, è, ù, û, ô... doesn't appear on the screen.

I could do a Finnish version. The only special characters I need are ä and ö, and since those are used in German I supposed there should be no problem there.

I can traslate to spanish, but the text must be in english...i cant read in german...i can do it, slowly but posible...it´s ok?. regards from argentina
