Before you start translating however - please write down the following info in this thread:
Your Nickname and the Language you have translated it to. (so you can be credited and to avoid that other people translate it to the same language)
When you are done translating the file - please test it with the game to make sure everything works fine and there arent any problems like special characters not showing up etc....
Once you have verified that everything works - rename the file back to language.lng (for example if its french - rename to francais.lng, if its spanish than espanol.lng etc....)
If your language has special characters - please do a version with them and without them - and mention the special characters in the email :)
Finally please email the file to information@poke53280.de with the following subject: "Language File <your translated language>"

or maybe the pokes will make it possible to write norwegian letters...
...but as with jan and T23X says... letters like åöä dosen´t work.
In the Hurrican starter, everything works fine.
In the meny none works.
In-game ä and ö works but not å.

Maybe you can have both included for selection.
or better not-- I dont think, that I will find words like "Fullscreen" in a book for Latin words
When you email it mention all the special characters so we can see if there can be done anything about this :)

I had planned to make a French language pack, and almost finished it... IT IS OUT :(
The translation isn't bad anyway... But there are still things to check (I would like to contact the one who made the language pack - sorry, can't remember his nickname - to see what would be the best translation)
Also, please include the accents and special characters in your bitmaps because ç, à, é, è, ù, û, ô... doesn't appear on the screen.

I tried 2 make chinese Language file,but it cannot display chinese words~ Oh, no~
Isnt it possible to translate it to mandarin using roman characters? Like "nihao" etc?
However, I don't think Chinese people will accept Roman Characters such as "Nihao" (Here it named "Pinyin") rather than English.
4 other game I don't know, but Harrican in China is a very popular game and has its own Chinese name "ÍâÐǺ·½«" given by our chinese now. Means "The most Strong General Extraterrestrially". There are many IM Team to discuss with it through a IM software named "Tecent QQ". So many magazines, Webpages, Forums, Game TV Shows tells us there is an extheme Shooting game named "Harrican". So I don't think our Gamers will be satisfied only with a Roman Language pack because it will takes a long time 2 think what's the meaning while playing a game as there are so many Chinese words has the same annouce.
Anyway I will finish it since Harrican is a so Amazing game!

go to Olivetree ( <-Link ) and download the Mingliu.ttc font offered somewhere near the bottom of the page. then install it and enjoy :)

I noticed that ä's and ö's turned into this weird pair of a 4 and an F, so I replaced them with dotless versions.
